CollegeWorks Year End Celebration!
The CollegeWorks Staff, Board of Directors, and East Bay Community Foundation cordially invite you to a celebration honoring our outstanding students, families, educational partners, and donors.
This will be a great opportunity to meet members of the ‘CollegeWorks Family’ and participate in a discussion about Oakland’s educational reform initiatives. We are extremely excited to welcome 52 new students and families to the CollegeWorks/East Bay Class of 2009.
Our personal college counseling, beginning now until you graduate from college, gives our students and families the knowledge to broaden their higher education perspectives and truly understand how the college selection, admissions, and financial aid system works. This approach provide them with the expertise to select, attend, and graduate from one the nation's leading colleges and universities that best fits their unique interests and needs.
When: Monday, October 22nd
Where: Haas School of Business UC Berkeley Campus 2220 Piedmont Ave. (across from the football stadium) Cheit Hall, Room C 230
(Parking can be difficult and it is a 20-minute walk from the Berkeley BART Station, so please give yourself ample time to be there by 6:00 pm.). Thank you.
Time: 6:00-8:30 pm
Attire: Slacks, Collared Shirts, Dresses, Skirts, Blouses, and Sweaters. Please no tennis shoes.

We look forward to seeing all of you and enjoying the final days of summer! Please bring bats, balls, gloves, frisbees, etc. WHEN: SATURDAY, AUGUST 18 TIME: 1 to 4 p.m. WHERE: CHABOT REGIONAL PARK (COVE PICNIC AREA) MENU: BIG NATE’S BBQ DIRECTIONS: From Oakland, take 580 east towards Hayward. Exit at 150th Ave./Fairmont Drive in San Leandro. Go past the first stop light and turn left at the second light. Head up the hill on Fairmont and continue to the park entrance on the left (Lake Chabot Road). Park and head towards the lake and The COVE picnic area. If necessary, call Andee at 510.290.5790.
