Through Texoma Promise, graduating high school students can earn a certificate, associate or bachelor’s degree with no out-of-pocket tuition costs. Once enrolled, success coaching and career services are provided to all Promise Scholars throughout their time in college.
The Texoma Promise is more than just a scholarship. Mentoring and workforce opportunities are provided from Texoma area leaders and businesses.

Who is eligible?
Graduating high school seniors from participating Promise high schools are eligible for the Texoma Promise. There are 23 participating high schools: Bells, Bonham, Collinsville, Denison, Dodd City, Ector, Gunter, Howe, Jefferson Learning Center, Leonard, Pathways, Pottsboro, S&S Consolidated, Sam Rayburn, Savoy, Sherman, Texoma Christian, Tioga, Tom Bean, Trenton, Van Alstyne, Whitesboro, and Whitewright.

Parent Promise and GED Promise
Grayson College also offers the Parent Promise and GED Promise, expanding higher education access in order to help more students achieve a liveable wage.
Through the Parent Promise, parents with a child who has qualified for the Texoma Promise, have earned their GED or high school diploma and have not yet obtained a college-level certificate or degree can have the opportunity to earn a certificate, associate, with no out-of-pocket tuition or mandatory fee costs. Once enrolled, success coaching and career services are provided to all Promise Scholars throughout their time in college.
